Wow man, you make me want to sketch, really badly, what do you use for these?

I've been doing all my sketching with Col-Erase colored pencils the last few years...red, blue, green, brown...totally fun to draw with, and cheap as heck. I usually buy a couple dozen of them at a time from DickBlick.com...they're only about 60¢ apiece. Worth every penny.

How "forgiving" are the pencils? I've been using drafting pencils, and am happy with the results - the blue lines, no matter how messy the sketch, aren't as noticeable as an HB pencil.

They're actually VERY forgiving...you can easily erase them, which I love. Plus, the light blue is invisible to scanners, so your underdrawings don't show up!

In terms of hardness, I'd probably equate them with an HB or 2H.
